The Portable Foundry Project is a casting collaboration between artists

Alice-Andrea Ewing and Freddy Morris.

Based out of Riggle Street Foundry, Suffolk, we cast using the Italian Investment or Renaissance Lost Wax method.

The Portable Foundry Project's aim is to make bronze casting accessible to all. It originated from our own love of casting and aims to bring this enjoyment to others, artists and non-artists alike.

We understand lessons in mould making and general casting knowledge can save money for practitioners. We also believe strongly in Arts Education and the power of engagement with new materials and processes as a means of inspiring and building confidence in young people. We offer a range of educational workshops suitable for schools and individual practitioners.

Our Current Projects page lists any upcoming workshops.

Schools or organisations interested in developing a project with us can drop us an email. We can share full details of our costings and process.

If you are a practitioner looking for casting services, please get in touch via our main foundry website or drop us an email using the link below.
